PHD in information science

Maja Gligora Marković holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies at the University of Rijeka. She works at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka, in the Department of Medical Informatics. She participates in teaching in the subjects of Mathematics, Medical Informatics, Health Informatics, and Introduction to Computer Assisted Medical Decision. Her scientific and professional interests include applying new technologies to learning and teaching and the interconnection of natural and social sciences topics.

Some of the projects she is currently involved in are: RAPIDE – Relevant assessment and pedagogies for inclusive digital education (Funded under Erasmus+ program – KA226 – Partnerships for Digital Education Readiness), LEL – Law in Everyday Life (Funded under Erasmus+ program – KA220-SCH – Cooperation partnerships in school education) and Croatian Science Foundation-funded project: SIMON: Intelligent system for automatic selection of machine learning algorithms in social sciences.
