Dunja Višnjić is a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, teaching laboratory exercises on Knowledge discovery in data. Dunja graduated from the same faculty in the 2020 program Economics of Entrepreneurship (cum laude). She is a Ph.D. candidate at a postgraduate doctoral study in Social Sciences in the field of Information Sciences. She is currently dedicated to this project: “SIMON: Intelligent system for automatic selection of machine learning algorithms in social sciences”.  Her primary area of ​​interest is data mining in business applications, but she is also interested in business finance.

She won the Award for best master thesis in the area of accounting, revision, and finance in 2020 by the Croatian Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals. During the master’s program, she participated in two projects: „Pop-up rural social-innovative hubs“ and “Academy of Regional Development and EU Funds”. She participated in training related to data analysis using MS Excel and the fundamentals of digital marketing. She recently completed an Elements of AI course. In the past, she worked as a data analysis and reporting officer.
