About Project
The goal of this project is to develop an artificial intelligence-based software tool that, based on input data about consumer habits, power plant parameters, battery storage parameters, weather forecasts, battery charge status, electricity market prices, and power grid balancing needs, will determine when and how much the battery should be charged or discharged.
In addition to the AI software, it will be necessary to develop hardware that will serve as an interface between the software component and one of the commercially available battery controllers. Through this interface, the AI tool will be able to send commands to the batteries to charge or discharge at a specific power level, while also receiving the necessary data from the batteries and other sensors.
