Biography
Marija Pokos Lukinec graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka in 2018, earning a master's degree in education in computer science and Italian language and literature. From 2018 to 2025, she taught computer science and Italian language in primary schools (Primary School San Nicolò in Rijeka, Primary School Šemovec, Primary School Cestica, and Primary School Veliki Bukovec). In 2023, she worked as an associate on the course Intelligent Systems at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb. Since 2025, she has been employed on the project Young Researchers' Career Development Project – Training New Doctoral Students and is pursuing a postgraduate doctoral program in Information Sciences. She works as a teaching assistant and is a member of the LOUISE laboratory, conducting research on artificial intelligence and machine learning in the field of education.
