Biography
Božidar Kliček is a Croatian professor and researcher in information systems and intelligent systems, affiliated with the University of Zagreb and the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin. Born in 1957, he has long-standing engagement in European and national research projects, notably in intelligent decision support, e-government, and educational technologies, and has served as a lead researcher on multiple projects funded by national ministries and EU programs. Throughout his career, he has mentored hundreds of students and contributed to the development of Croatia’s information infrastructure and AI-driven decision support capabilities. He has held roles as a professor, external collaborator, and active member of several professional organizations, including IEEE, ACM, AAAS, and the Croatian Academy of Engineering, and has participated in numerous program committees and international conferences. His publication record and scholarly impact are reflected in a comprehensive bibliography and ongoing involvement in research on intelligent systems, data-driven decision making, and digital education.
